This item is part of the COVID series. Retablos as a form of folk art began as depictions of religious iconography, but have since morphed into a way to document everyday life, from big moments to the mundane. Every day seems like both of those right now, so what better art form to capture bits and pieces of our very strange lives? 25% of all sales in this series will go to COVID relief funds and organizations that advocate for communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic here in LA and nationwide.
