custom retablo

want a retablo specific to you or someone you love? have a big event you want to commemorate? piece of your everyday life you want to immortalize? loved one you want to honor? order a custom retablo for yourself or as a gift! custom retablos are based off of reference photos and any details or information you provide. I’ll make the the skeletons, background, and other details unique to you!

• simple retablos consist of one or two skeletons with a simple (e.g. solid color) background

• detailed retablos consist of one or two skeletons with either

  • a somewhat detailed background (e.g. a basic landscape), or

  • a simple background (e.g. solid color) and a tin border

• highly detailed retablos consist of between one and 3 skeletons and feature either

  • a highly detailed (e.g. a specific room, complex landscape, etc) background, or

  • a moderately detailed (e.g. a basic landscape) background with a detailed tin border

  • may also feature additional mixed-media details (e.g. clay roses and hearts, fabric bed sheets, etc)
